Yep, it’s booted. But we’re having big problems with the hwcomposer again.
Once the screen went of for the first time, it will never come back on.
Oh it will, but just to play the CRT-off animation. 
In short: currently not usable.

Never, ever again will I buy a Samsung device. Waiting to get my hands on a nexus 4, so stuck on the S3 until then. Thanks for your work and I genuinely hope Samsung will provide more up to date stuff on their repo though last reports looked gloomy…
Im only buy samsung if samsung made phone with OMAP5 not exynos chip. #puke
Well.. good luck with that. TI announced a few weeks ago that it will not make any more OMAP socs for the mainstream market (smartphones/tablets.)
Only Qualcomm, nVidia, Samsung, Intel and Apple are left in the SoC business. Best bet for opening up is Qualcomm.

Just wanted to share my experience,,I traded my sgs3 for brand new htc one x,and I can tell you that the official jelly bean from htc is rock solid and much battery friendly in any way than the sgs3.
And the guy called tripnraver/noeri or something has managed to compile pure aosp 4.2.1 and everything is working as it should.
So far so good.
I don’t regret.
