Jellybeanz?

Just want to drop a quick status update about CyanogenMod 10 (Jellybean) on Samsung phones i’m working on for the ones who did miss my G+ post.

i777 (exynos4): no sound, problems with hwcomposer
i9100 (exynos4): no sound, problems with hwcomposer
i9100g (omap4): works great
i9300 (exynos4): almost good, transparency issues
n7000: no sound, problems with hwcomposer
p3100 (omap4): works great
p3110 (omap4): works great
p3113 (omap4): works great
p5100 (omap4): works great
p5110 (omap4): works great

Testbuilds for all devices except the ones with “no sound” are available via XDA.

Sourcecode for the “working” devices already got pushed to http://github.com/cyanogenmod.

Enjoy them. :-D

      Really?

      Sound is now working?

What else is missing from i9100 for this not to be a daily driver?

Codeworkx: is there any particular reason OMAP devices so much easier to work with, when compared to Exynos? For example – better documentation or something?

Hello codeworkx. Thank you very much for your work, you are a legend. I have a problem with the galaxy s2 i9100g. After upgrading to ics, its touch sensitivity has become bad. In gingerbread, it used to be so responsive, responding with the slightest touchs. Now its much worse than that. My device is not damaged. I think its a software problem. I used cm9 stable version and cm10 nightly, and both have this touch sensitivity issue. Could you please tell me a solution to this? Thank you very much

THX for your Release CM10 from 21.08.2012.

It will work really good on my I9100…

I hope we will get an final release very fast, because I will not go back to CM9 ;-)

I found one bug: Google Search will not work.. Its possible a problem with Google now…

    THX

Great work. I how it works on my p3100

I’m a bit confused about the different builds since your code seems committed to the main cm git project.

What is the difference between the builds listed on these two webs?

Hi, Is there any chance of a build for the i9100p with working NFC?

    Hey Codeworkx!
I’m back to big S again :) (silly me).
And yet, reading sammfirmware page or something, and there I found around 15 leaks of Jelly Bean for S3.
(And guess what, none of them isn’t ready yet).
I would like to express my anger over Samsung relationship with their customers(big fail).
Selling over 20 millions of one single unit and let’s do nothig :)
I mean they have all the documents, power, money, developers, couriers to make this possible really soon. But why don’t they do that?
I’m gonna so trade with my girlfriend with her galaxy nexus :)
    Best of luck,and happy coding on s**** S :)
    P.S: Using CM9 (LOVE IT)!!!!

@ CODEWORKX = Is there any way to get the button remap feature of your cm10 nightky builds into cm9

  16. kieranc88 says:

Is there a way to manually install that festure on cm9 , I wouldnt ugrade Yet because My battery dropped 6 percent in 45 minutes being on standby And dropped 20 percent browsing the web for 10 mins

  17. kieran says:

Id love if you could add this feature and I’m sure a lot more people would too,to cm9 as cm10 is far from stable

    • codeworkx says:

Like i’ve said. CM9 only gets bugfixes.
CM10 is stable. Maybe just not for your device.

  18. kieran says:

    Gs2 not stable
